#23: Is there a F-86 displayed in Novato?
Never heard of one, and the only place would probably be at the airport, which there isn't one. I hink the "meat bomber" OP refers to might have been the Vimy that was orginally based at Novato?

#45: Are there actual airframes displayed as part of the Louis A. Turpen Aviation Museum in the Sanfrancisco Airport terminal?
Having been there several times recently, I still say no.
I removed it from the list (this time).

Ouch, this is a shorter list?
Originally there were 56 items. Apparently California is a big state. Also there is much history there.

#16: Is there a T-38 displayed at the former Northrop University at Inglewood?
Northop Institute of Technology (now Northrop Rice Aviation Institute of Technology) used to have a T-33 and an F-86D (or L). Never heard they had a T-38. http://www.nrait.edu/company.htmNoted. I have sent them an email. For now I will leave it on the list.

Santa Fe Springs maybe and no.
You two have confirmed my suspicions.

#32: Where exactly in Camarillo is Airliners of America located?
http://www.museumsusa.org/museums/info/1153229Unfortunately the address given on that page is a residential section. This is probably just an office. What I would like to have is the location of the hangar (assuming they have one).

#49: Is the map reference for the Santa Maria Museum of Flight correct?
It's just south of the pointer.
How about now?
bluethunder28 wrote:
#37: Is there a F-86 displayed in Inyokern? There may be one displayed at a “Budd McGhee Air Park”. Can you confirm?
http://www.amarcexperience.com/AMARCArticleF86Sabre.asp It appears that 5026 left China Lake in the late 1990s to the Budd McGhee Air Park collection in nearby Inyokern. The USAFM acquired the F-86 and it was moved to Wright Patterson AFB, from here it was delivered to AMARC. 5035 left China Lake and eventually ended up at the Southern Museum of Flight, Birmingham, AL. The main fuselage was restored to display condition using the tail from another F-86F. It's original tail is what is now at AMARC.
I’ll note there is no longer one there.
The remaining questionables are now listed below. The list originally had 56 items. We are now down to 34. Can it be made shorter? Feel free to post contributions here, you you can also send them to me via…
