Seriously! I'll take a case of lambic if you still have it around! I can't get that stuff off my mind!

I will be bottling some more “P-Lambic” (it’s not real Lambic because that can only be made in Belgium in a specific region, but it uses some of the same type bacteria to get something similar in the end, so I call it Pseudo Lambic or P-Lambic) clone up soon, It's a Cranberry “P-Lambic”; it tastes pretty good. I think I needed twice as many cranberries for it, next time. I have a good stock of Raspberry and Blackberry on hand, It is all about 2 years old or older. Just getting in its prime!

I also bottled 10 gallons of Sparking Mead which should be great when it’s ready.

Sometime you all need to make the trip to do a tasting of my collection. Or maybe we should camp out at Scott’s house for evening and try some stuff.

This years wine has also been improved, we invested in winery grade corks which have helped out a lot. When we had to open 6 bottles to find one that was not corked I wasn’t too happy. These seem to do the trick and every year we learn more and more about how to make it.

Believe me... it is!

By the way... Warbird Brewing Co. is expanding to bottles! http://www.wane.com/Global/story.asp?S= ... menu32_2_3

I just wish that pesky Interstate Commerce Act would allow us to ship beer over state lines... I think this is a job for the Bandit!

"Eastbound and down, loaded up and truckin'
Ah we gonna do what they say can't be done
We've got a long way to go, and a short time to get there
I'm eastbound, just watch old Bandit run

Keep your foot hard on the pedal
Son, never mind them brakes
Let it all hang out cause we got a run to make
The boys are thirsty in Atlanta
and there's beer in Texarkana
We'll bring it back no matter what it takes

Eastbound and down, loaded up and truckin'
Ah we gonna do what they say can't be done
We've got a long way to go, and a short time to get there
I'm eastbound, just watch old Bandit run

Old Smokey's got them ears on
He's hot on your trail
And he ain't gonna rest 'til you're in jail
So you've got to dodge him, you've got to duck him
You gotta keep that diesel truckin'
Just put that hammer down and give it hell

Eastbound and down, loaded up and truckin'
Ah we gonna do what they say can't be done
We've got a long way to go, and a short time to get there

I was wondering why you went missing in action after the holidays and eventually just chalked it up to an angry boss who finally witnessed your bizarre behavior at work laughing in outbursts at your computer, trying to lick the monitor, and seeing your productivity cut in half! :ouch:

Welcome back sweetie!!!

John

Thanks John! I am glad to be back! I missed you guys!

My boss loves me, are you kidding? ha ha! He finds me to be a class act (what he told me yesterday) and a highly regarded member of our team (also yesterday). Little does he know how much I love WIX. :)

Tim:

Are you kidding me, cranberry??? OMG, that would be amazing!!! *drools* And Blackberry, holy smokes. I am absolutely in heaven, but it's the cranberry that kills me! Sounds delicious, cranberries are one of my favorite foods ever!!!

I vote you bring your beer to WA, and tour some west coast air museums. :)

(Trying to work this in my favor, since my likelihood of making it out your way isn't good!)

I just had to look up Warbird Brewing, I had never heard of it... amazing! I want some of each kind. Some to drink, some to display, awesome! It'll go well housed near my Spruce Goose wine.

Oooh! Spruce Goose wine? Who makes it? I am trying to pull together a listing of all the aviation related food and beverage items I can for a "society, culture, and culinary" of aviation article... I'd love to put that one in! If you have a link for a site that sells it... even better!

Bet ya gotta have some Tillamook Cheddar with that wine huh?

You can check out the vineyards at: http://www.evergreenvineyards.com/.

If you ever order any, try the Pinot Noir, it's very good. :)

And you've definitely gotta have the Tillamook cheese...
http://tillamookcheese.com/

It's located right near the Tillamook Aviation Museum! (Re-opening 03/01/07.)

I can't wait to see the article, very cool! How fun!

Too cool! Thanks a bunch for the tip! If you come across any other aviation related food, beverage, or accomodations (Inns & Hotels), please pass them along! I'll make you the official Food and Society editor of WRG!

No, I like to multi-task, I prefer keeping busy. :)

Which really is the case, work full time, volunteer three different places, adding school to the mix shortly... etc... It keeps me from getting bored!
