I hope it's not too late to resurrect this thread instead of start a new one, and ask if anyone has any news on the various Dora projects? There's a healthy number of Antons flying including the real one, I figured at least one Dora would have flown by now.

Fw-190D-9 W.Nr. 210096 now with the Collings Foundation. - Not sure if they have actually started on it at Gosshawk. Could be part Flugwerk.

Fw-190D-9 W.Nr. 400616 completed as static display rebuild in Austria, not airworthy - sold and now in storage in Texas I think. To fly you will have to start over.

Fw-190D-9 W.Nr. 210102 airworthy rebuild with Eric Vormezeele with Flugwerk parts - no new update in years, website links dead

Fw-190D-9 W.Nr 210968 the Lake Schwerin recovery - still working on it, limited funding. It will be hung from the Luftwaffe Museum ceiling when complete I think

And the Flugwerk Fw-190D-9/N with Jerry Yagen - planned to be refitted with a Jumo 213. The Jumo looks nearly complete at Vintage V12s. No info if the airframe is ready to install the new engine or not. Some comments elsewhere that the project is not a priority for Yagen

Any idea on the ID for the Dora that MeierMotors is working on?

It could be Jerry Yagen's Flugwerk Fw-190D-9 (ex Tom Blair) although that seems like a lot of rebuild work for a mostly complete aircraft. Vintage V12s is still fitting out a Jumo 213 for Yagen.

Yagen also owns the wreck for Fw-190D-9 Werk No. 211028 and I don't know the status.

The Collings Foundation had the ID for Fw-190D-9 Werk.No. 210096. I'm seeing a new registration for it in August 2023 in Oregon.

The other possibility is that I'm aware that Eric Vormezeele passed away in 2022, so his project could have changed hands.

Or, this could be a new Flugwerk conversion?

I would agree with DNF's supposition that the machine in the video is likely from the Vormezeele estate. Looks to be new build.
Possibly, they are trying to utilize some wreckage, to attach an identity. Just my thoughts of course.
I did notice the letters "VA" on one of the crates. Again, just an observation.
Regarding the tensioning of flying wires, hardwood is the preferred tool.
The flying wires on the wing are not loaded when the aircraft is on the ground. The landing wires are, that's why they are taut.
The biplane should be rigged to the drawing. After that, if it flies right, you're done!

The Vormezeele project was using the ID and wreckage of Fw-190D-9 Werk.Nr. 210102 that was dug out of the mud in Belgium. There is an interesting story behind it.

I'm puzzled over the project in the video. Vormezeele was using one of the three Fw-190D fuselages that were produced by Flugwerk and it does look like his project.

The Flugwerk Fw-190D at Yagen's museum is basically a complete airframe so stripping it down to such a degree seems unlikely although it would still need some work.

I'm having trouble remembering if Mark Timkin or Collings Foundation had one of the Flugwerk fuselages to complete Werk.No. 210096. The Collings Foundation aircraft has a new registration of N190CF in Oregon. Also I see that American Aero Services in FL was contracted at one point to do the rebuild for 210096.

The airframe at Bremgarten is Jerry Yagen's. It's being rebuilt to authentic Focke-Wulf standards with some original parts much like they did with the Hangar 10 Flugwerk post engine failure.
