I would agree with DNF's supposition that the machine in the video is likely from the Vormezeele estate. Looks to be new build.
Possibly, they are trying to utilize some wreckage, to attach an identity. Just my thoughts of course.
I did notice the letters "VA" on one of the crates. Again, just an observation.
Regarding the tensioning of flying wires, hardwood is the preferred tool.
The flying wires on the wing are not loaded when the aircraft is on the ground. The landing wires are, that's why they are taut.
The biplane should be rigged to the drawing. After that, if it flies right, you're done!
