I spent some time inside the one at the Southampton Hall of Aviation (now renamed). It is well fitted out with a civilian interior. Looked ready to go! A very nice display.

The Sunderland has since had it's exterior refurbishment completed, and is indoors at MOTAT. A refurbished front turret was fitted several weeks ago. Restoration of the interior continues.

No, it is the front turret, which slides back into the fuselage.

Note grappling hook on the right I mean starboard side, and access to the turret in the forward position. The anchor is further aft.
