The Collings Foundation pulled into town today (Witchcraft arriving at the Easterwood terminal earlier this afternoon):

A little after 2PM as I was unloading hay in the barn, I heard what sounded like screaming turboprops and finally spotted the Cactus AF OV-10 Bronco maneuvering just east of me. After he departed back to Carson City I could hear the Nevada Forestry UH-1N working in the hills to the east.
Then the Tradewind Twin Beech was flying around the area and passed directly overhead on his return to KMEV. Then the UH-1N flew by with an external cable and hook hanging beneath heading back to the airport. He has been using a Bambi Bucket the last few days probably filling the wildlife guzzlers as it is really dry here.
Then the Tradewind flew overhead again as he departed to the east. A fairly busy hour or so for around here. Sorry, no camera handy.

About 1130 CDT today, a C-130 blasted by directly over my house at VERY low altitude, heading west. I'm guessing 3,000 feet or so. They had the tailgate down and I could actually see the cargo bay lights lit up inside! Since all I saw was a dead-on rear view, I couldn't get any markings, and there was no time to hunt for a camera. Paint scheme was rather dark, unlike the normal light grey that I see around here frequently.

At 6:45 PM ET Charlie Cartledges TBM flew west bound in a shalow left turn rolling out about 220 Degrees as he passed low over Vermilion Ohio. No doubt he had made a stop at the Lorain County airport on way to Port Clinton, Ohio. GO CHARLIE (I think)...

Didn't get any photos, but I saw a Fokker Eindecker a couple of weeks ago.

Sunday was a good warbird day! Early in the afternoon, someone overflew my house in a blue and yellow PT-19, moving eastbound at a blistering speed (probably every bit of 60 MPH). A few minutes later, I saw what looked like a yellow Stearman about a mile to the east, out over the lake.
About 7:20 PM, a Corsair and Mustang flew directly over my house in tight formation, headed approximately ESE (which would be toward Addison). The combination of radial and V-12 exhaust notes sure sounded strange (in a "make the hair on the back of your neck stand up" kind of way!). Since this was Warbirds Over Addison weekend at Cavanaugh Flight Museum, I'm guessing the Mustang was probably The Brat III. Not sure about the Corsair.

The Collings Foundation Wings of Freedom tour is in town this week.
I've seen the B-17 and the B-25. I've heard the P-51 a couple times, but have not actually seen it yet.

I read elsewhere that the Cavanaugh "U-bird" is flying again.

Dean.
PT19 and Stearman were doing Cavanaugh rides (along with Mustang, Skyraider, Texan, O-2 and OH-13 helicopter)
Corsair was Cavanaughs, which was flying formation with the "Brat" for a Sunday evening photoshoot with Scott Slocum.

This sighting happened yesterday (5-17-15) at about 2:30PM Eastern. Charlie Cartledge and his TBM made several low passes over the Pat O'Brien Chevrolet Dealership in Vermilion, Ohio as a tribute to Veterans. Also flying overhead was either a PT-17 or N2S-5 out of Lorain County Regional (couldn't tell which) to add to the festivities...

A Tora Zeke passed by heading northeast a few minutes ago...
