There wouldn't be a great deal to salvage as 'The Lady..' was a donation parts bin airframe and had everything useable pulled off to keep other WB-29's @ Eilson flying until it was an empty shell. Then it was moved by railroad flatcar to it's present location where it was used as a rescue/emergency egress trainer until the depression it's sitting in filed in with either ground water seepage or rain (although, technically Fairbanks gets less than 11 inches of precipitaton annually so it's considerd to be desert

) made it unuseable and it was left to it's fates. Rain amounts and snow amounts are figured differently I believe the formula is 8 inches of snow equates to 1 inch of rain. And don't forget the 'noseeums' (clouds of gnats)
