Very cool -- I saw it go over my house ~10 miles from its home. Wish I had noted the time, but sure didn't...

The Houston-Galveston area is lousy with warbirds right now, way too many to report, nice problem to have! :supz:

(Who's Avenger, the deep blue one?? Kathleen the Corsair was the latest flyover. 8) )

Zorro -- very cool pic, thanks!

Saw a Grumman G-73 Mallard depart and return at Minden, NV today.
There is also a PACAERO Tradewind parked on the ramp. It had me puzzled as it looked like a Beech 18 but the tricycle gear and single vertical on the tail threw me. I had to look it up when I got home.

Well, it finally happened -- looked up when I heard a jet going over, and it was a 262! 8) :supz: WOW. Appeared to be headed east from the Clear Lake area, just cruising 'til out of sight.

That would be a Grumman E-2 Hawkeye, the Navy's carrier-borne AWACS platform.

While sitting in a parking lot I saw two contrails right in line with each other. Once they got closer, I saw that they were two B-2s. First time I've ever seen them besides an air show--very cool.

At an elegant wedding on a great hill at a mansion in York, Pennsylvania in the middle of a country club. Absolutely nothing to do with airplanes..... And then an AT-6 buzzes the wedding, circles and buzzes it again! What are you telling me life?

A short while ago, two ATAC L-39's departed KMEV headed SSE. They headed the same direction yesterday also.

Lynn,

You were close. It was Yankee Lady. She was in New Jersey this past weekend.

Huey. Wasn't flying but on a 5th wheel trailer. Olive Drab looked to be in great shape with all rotors only no skids.

Location: South Kansas City on 150 hwy at the corner of 150hy and prospect just west of old Richards Gebauer airbase. Truck was bright blue and said G&T Services or G&T Towing services. Why such an aircraft would be coming off that side road i have no idea. Nothing aviation related there that i know of.
