website says they are gonna do a new stadium flyover in El Paso, Tx.
For those in the El Paso area be on the look out and maybe post a pic as I do not have my camera with me :(

Looking forward to seeing "Sentimental Journey" along with at least one more B-17 at Chino next weekend. Maybe "Maid in the Shade" will make the trip as well?

Just FYI Steve, I spent a few of my early years in Safford and still have some family out that way.

The Blue Angels' C-130 "Fat Albert" flew over my house earlier this afternoon, headed northeast. She sure looked pretty against the bright blue Texas sky! The Blues were in Fort Worth this past weekend for the air show at NAS JRB Fort Worth. Their next show is this weekend in St. Louis, MO.

Friday and today I saw Texas Raiders, first in a low and slow pass overhead on arrival and today I went out the airport.
Yesterday, I saw PT-26 N48671, Curtiss JN4-C Canuck NX308F and Tayorcraft L-2 N46347 at Pioneer Flight Museum's Spring AirFair.
All in all, a good weekend for plane watching.

This past Saturday, I had occasion to be at the site of former RAF Kenley when the unmistakable sound of a Merlin was followed by the unmistakable site of the Spitfire profile. I went over to the Wattenden Arms for lunch and soaked it in. It was a good day. Anyone know which Spit was flying that day and why?

In Ede in the Netherlands, at 16.30 Central European Time, PBY Catalina PH PBY flying north at verry low altitude, probably returning to it's home base at Lelystad airport.
It looked great and sounded great too.

In Zeist in the Netherlands at 12.30 pm DC3 PH-PBA from the Dutch Dakota Association moving from east to west. Probably on it's way to Schiphol airport at Amsterdam.
She was flying low and slow at 1400 feet as she usually does when she is on a trip and of course I could hear her coming with that great piston engine sound.

Look on this page for the history on PH-PBA: https://www.dutchdakota.nl/en/dda-classic-airlines/vloot/phpba/
