Help with info
does anyone know which specific aircraft were involved in the
1935 USAAC basic trainer competition in addition to the North american
NA-16(BT- 9) ? Thanks for the help..old chuck.

The NORTHROP 2J2 GAMMA lost out to the North American BC-1 don't know if any others were in the competetion, SEVERSKYS entry was rejected after taking too long to finish.(stalling to install retractable gear and other items)

We have one piece of information saying that a Curtiss-Wright aircraft was one of the competitors. Any truth to that, as far as you know?

CW-19 would have been the rough contemporary, and was offered to the USAAC, but I don't know if it was the same competition.
CW-22 follow-up was adopted in limited numbers as SNC-1
