The NORTHROP 2J2 GAMMA lost out to the North American BC-1 don't know if any others were in the competetion, SEVERSKYS entry was rejected after taking too long to finish.(stalling to install retractable gear and other items)

We have one piece of information saying that a Curtiss-Wright aircraft was one of the competitors. Any truth to that, as far as you know?

Thanks.

CW-19 would have been the rough contemporary, and was offered to the USAAC, but I don't know if it was the same competition.
CW-22 follow-up was adopted in limited numbers as SNC-1

The CW-19 looked like a low rent, scaled down version of the HARLOW with fixed, spatted gear and side by side seats using a KINNER 5 cylinder radial, 20 built for China, 3 for Cuba no other orders placed. The CW-22 prototype first flew in 1940 and became the SNC-1
