This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

Here is a version of the same paint job but with a strafing nose re-fit.

I'd love to see one as MMR. A dragon nose would be great too!

viewtopic.php?p=111688still gets my vote, although Dog Face is very cool, and I like the split personality concept as well.

I love how they just spray painted over the nose glazing!

Some neat pix, but the candidate airplane is a glass nosed J. IMHO, the best ideas so far are the Corsica birds with OD applied in the field and/or the split personality with TB-25 markings from her own career.
As far as censoring MMR for today's audience, I think I'd rather see another subject chosen than to alter something historic. Dogface isn't a bad idea, nor was Jaunty Jo.

My fave are the Corsica birds!
You could come up with your own 'Split Decision'. With the nose art of a female doing the splits.
One side of her wearing an Olive Drab khaki Army uniform and the other side wearing a scantily clad outfit

with stockings and a shimery silver number.
Thus keeping with the 'split' paint design of the B-25.
What ever it is, please post the pics so we can critique the accuracy of your paint job!

Wow!! Some great ideas. Please Keep them coming. Can someon give an example of what her Trainer markings may have looked like post war.

Scroll to bottom to see TB-25:

Several post war were polished up to shine like a proverbial diamond with glossy black accents and became the 'Generals barge' and just about every air base had several on station as trainers, squadron hacks, as well as Brass haulers. That's what I had in mind for the 'half n half' paint scheme.

That certainly refutes the story that Pappy Gunn and fellow pilots from the 3rd BG "stole'' the B-25s from the Dutch before using them for the Royce Mission.
