I saw her warming up at EFD just before that.

So the other day I was flying the Cub with a student in Kerrville.
While we were in the pattern, I'm always scanning for traffic, and anything photogenic...

And lo and behold I thought I saw something unique in that hangar above!

The EAA B-17 apparently hangared there for the day.

The C-47 was Rick Sharpe's. They were doing some flight training.

Thanks Rick, where I was viewing from it was a nice sounding silhouette.

A nice surprise in the skies in SE Michigan this morning - while taking an extra long walk in my neighborhood, I look up and see four F-16's flying in formation heading right for me.

They were flying under the overcast so they could be seen and heading SW. The only thing I can think of is that maybe they were going to do a missing man for a funeral. You could hear their thunder for a good minute after they flew over! Made my day and made me glad I took an really long walk!
Did anyone else in the Union Lake/Commerce Michigan area see this?

The Texas Aggie/Kansas game in College Station had a 3 ship V-22 flyover to start the game. Usually, at least the pilots are Aggies.

Everts Air was hauling fuel in their C-46. They flew over my house 4 times today and I listened to them take off 4 times. Those R-2800 Pratts and long toothpick props make the most wonderful racket.

Got lucky this spring. I live 300 miles from Boeing in Spokane. Was at the airport purchasing some fuel. They were testing the new 787. Don't think it had been flown much at that time. Kind of unusual doing testing here. Amazed how much the wings flexed when they take off.

Well, not an "airplane", but...
This just came out of the sky, perched on the grass long enough for me to get my camera out, and roared away about as fast as I have ever seen a helicopter accelerate and climb.
