Awesome photos! Must have been a heck of a ride!
I was also wondering if there was any word yet about Doug DeVries getting his turbine Goose (N642) back to Everett from Oshkosh yet. It's not that it got stuck there during EAA AirVenture; it lived there for many years (owned by Jack Mark) until Doug bought it last April, but it needed an impossible amount of work to make it airworthy again before he could ferry it home. Just curious.

Al, those look great! Nice shot of Wampus and Bad K over GRUMPY. I KNOW Jim M. is gonna want copies of him in I.V. and I'll bet Greg would like copies of him in VAL-

About 60 aircraft in attendance and the crowd was pretty good too considering we had to compete with Labor Day weekend campers, BUMBERSHOOT music festival in Seattle @ the Seattle Center, and really iffy weather. everyone seems to have had a good time and several folks commented on how quiet the 87 was when it landed, turned around and left again heading North bound which is what it's doing in front of FHC's SPITFIRE.

Thanks everyone. I'll be adding more pics in the next day or two hopefully. Just been pretty busy around here as we're transitioning into being the new building managers of our apartment complex.
I'll most definately get prints made up for Jim. I still owe Nancy and Lance some from their "solo" on GA Day too.

Wunnerful stuff Al, really excellent (as usual!). Much appreciated, as I wasn't able to go this weekend. Very cool that you got to go up in Grumpy, too; I'm jel!
Thanks for posting...
