Excellent news, always great to see another warbird take to the sky.
Question. How are the plans for the 26th of June coming? I know that as of a few days ago there is a concern that some yellow birds from an hour east of Tillsonburg may not make it because of the G-20 summit " No transponder...No fly" zone which these birds find themselves housed in. How big a turnout of aircraft are you expecting should you be blessed with good weather. Just curious....I plan on attending.
Cheers,
Jeff
Hi Jeff,
I know that the Tiger Boys were planning on attending up until a week or so ago, but at the moment are still 'up in the air'.
(pardon the pun)I don't think there's any harm in letting the cat out of the bag regarding participating aircraft since we were mainly waiting for the grant, so...
The list so far:
All 10 CHAA aircraft (8 flying)
Canadian Harvard Aerobatic Team
Vintage Wings of Canada P-40N
No. 6 RCAF Dunnville Museum aircraft:
Yale, Harvard(s?), Cornell, Fleet Finch, T-28,
Tiger Moth?My Yale 3390 project
Any participation by CWH aircraft is still uncertain, as we have been unable to get in touch with the one making the decisions.
If any do show up, that's great, but as of right now we don't know of any that can or will be flying in.
I'll start another thread soon letting everyone know about this event, as well as Wings & Wheels in July and the airshow in August.

BTW I just noticed that it was exactly a year to the day from when I started this thread until 3399 actually flew. Kinda ironic...
