Can't find my index list of the magazine storage boxes. (loose issues, unbound, stored in the back collection-room shelves). I looked through a couple of the HEAVY

Aero Digest boxes and did not see those issues. I DO have large bound volumes of Aero Digest in the library and it takes four large volumes just to bind the 1929 issues. Found the bound volume of AD for April/May/June 1929, and it is about 800 pages of fabulous stuff from rare & oddball aircraft to every engine & accessory, plus fantastic full page photo ads etc. profusely illustrated. Nearly 300 pages per month. I sure do not want to break up a set of these. But if you know what pages you are looking for, let me know and I'll see if can get the volume onto the scanner, or take a decent photo of it/them with the camera for you. If you don't know the pages, I'll have to go through about 600 or so pages, but will enjoy it! I haven't looked at these for some time, and forgot how great they are/were. I would consider selling (either) ALL of the bound, or all of the loose issues of Aero Digest, (1920s-1940s, loose issues)if anyone is seriously interested. Bound volumes are only from 1929-38 and missing some years. Will be parting with LOTS of similar years & aero titles (including foreign titles) in long runs, if anyone is looking for collections/sets. A LOT of these magazines ran aircraft & engine reports in series, in several successive issues...
Barnbstormer,
I would sure appreciate the help with any scans. the April 1929 was on and around page 215. The June 1929 was on and around page 231. That one (June) I have an extremely poor copy of a copy, and could mine much better data with a decent scan for the engine mounts, window frames, and landing gear. It gives a unique view with the engine swung away. You may want to check and see if there is an advertiser's index on those volumes, as that would point you to any ads.
Also Aviation magazine March 9, 1929 advertisement. On and around page 709.
Thank you!
