One of my AF DI's was a former Navy SEAL.. he wasn't too complimentary about the Army..
He also had more medals than I thought it possible to get..IIRC 9 rows on one side, 5 on the other...Which was enough to impress upon us just how bad of an idea it might be to mess with him....

Thanx for the correction Mudge...maybe I am a bit more of a geezer than you After I saluted a full bird Colonel with my LEFT hand, basic training became a blurr after that PTSD started very early on in my AF career
