I had seen something on them, back when they bought up Barbie III. Indeed, quite a worthy cause, but will they make enough to fly the fleet, let alone make money for the cause? Great concept though, unfortunately, none of their listed tour cities are near me. :(

Looks like the Florida Better Business Bureau gives them an "F" rating!

I've also received some warnings via e-mail about this outfit although I have no personal knowledge.

Not only that, but that "F" rating is based on all of 5 complaints.

I take BBB ratings with a serious grain of salt. I've found out that the BBB really doesn't do much. I've found that the Chamber of Commerce has a better system and actually has a little more capability of dealing with issues.

Out of all the dissatisfied customers, what percentage are likely to file a complaint with the BBB? Especially since their tour isn't primarily in the state where the corporation is located?

I certainly don't want to discourage folks from donating to an organization flying warbirds, but I also don't want people getting ripped off.

Maybe the e-mails I got were from sour grapes, but normally I don't get e-mails in response to WIX postings. Just beware, there might be some truth to these warnings.

I got no dog in this hunt, but as a point of clarification I'd like to point out the BBB has their "nature of business" as Aircraft Rebuilding and may be another source of complaint...tho your e-mails would cast clearer light on the gripe nature.

Personally, if I had the scratch for a warbird experience flight I'd be more inclined to to go with local reputations...unless I had a hankering to fly in the "only H model B-25 still flying in the world", I guess.

History Flight is running ads in the Houston Chronicle for "flight packages" in the B-25H or a T-6 for June 4-9 here at Ellington...50 bux off if you purchase by 24 December. "The Perfect Holiday Gift", the ad touts.

Then who is paying for the gas and maintenance?
