This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

TRARON was very sparse this year. I heard that 34 had registered, but not that many showed up. I think that was 34 members though, not aircraft. A lot of planes weren't able to make it due to weather.

Was that Marty or Mark flying in the first picture?

It was Mark in the in-flight picture. I flew formation with Marty on the previous flight in our T-6 (didn't take any pictures during that flight

)

Well, if you were flying, I'd hope you didn't take pictures.
Good to see that they both made it this year. The other 2 aircraft look pretty spiffy as well and are ones I don't remember seeing previous years. Sad I missed this year.

The big surprise was when Julie's T-6 showed up with a new paint job! Instead of Navy blue, it's now an orange-tinged yellow, painted to honor a unit of the New Mexico Air National Guard. Pretty bird! I wish I had my camera with me. Did anyone get a shot of it to post?

Julie's T-6 did look great! I warmed up really quickly to the NM ANG scheme... Too bad only a few 6's showed. Darn TX weather.

Bluehawk, here is a photo I took as she taxied out for the missing man performance. I enjoyed the new scheme.
