Maybe a little bit. "Warbirds" contains the word "war" for a reason, and people of different backgrounds view the original reason for these aircraft being built differently. Take a Japanese Zero or FW190 for instance. It can be hard for some who lost family members to these aircraft during war to hear about how "successful" they were. My late dad luckily survived two kamikazee hits (one above his station) on the Ticonderoga during the war. I don't think he wanted to see my photos of Zeros as much as Hellcats, TBMs and Helldivers.
I still think that arguments are pretty few and far between.
