The 234 is very small and I was thinking what a great kit plane or replica that would be to build. Very easy lines to recreate and jet engines now are easy to come by.
I took the pics with a smal digital pocket camera. I got lucky by holding thr camera very, very still.

I was wondering if it was the camera angle or something. Turns out I had just built it up in my mind instead!

Hi Chuck great photo's! I was there a couple years ago and got about the same results! Thankfully too there are many poles to lean on and/or guard rails.
I will add this for the photogs out there, they do not allow tripods there, but do allow mono-pods, so that can be helpful. I know the next time I do go back I will have one!

When I was there this past Summer, the P38 has a "parts needed" sign next to it for it's restoration. There is a link to my pictures in a previous thread.

I don't think they did anything to the P-38 except clean it.
