That's at least the story that the Geneseo guys told me back then. Has her ownership status changed in the interim? I think this plane will never fly again. I heard there was a problem with the paper work. I don't think it would be the museums best interest in making the 119 flying. It world take a lot of work and a lot of money. What the idea is now is to clean her up make her presentable and maybe a new paint job.
I think the first step is to remove all the bird crap. This stuff is corrosive and is not very healthy. Second need to plug up any holes to prevent the birds from getting in and building nests.
