Since people seem to think that the off-topic section is for political discussion, something that is frowned upon, I have temporarily closed the section. ANY political discussions in any other forum will be deleted and the user suspended. I have had it with the politically motivated comments.

I got my drivers license!
So I guess we should send out an email warning the people of Florida to stay off the roads.
Just kidding, congrats

Cool! A Liberty Ship! What's her purpose now? Floating museum of some sort or else?
Mon Feb 05, 2007 5:38 pm
Yup, museum usually anchored in SF, dinner cruises, special events

Great shots Roger. Glad to see them since I was huddled indoors.

Thanks, it was a great day overall, rode my motorcycle up to Sonoma, played with the plane for about three hours, split lanes into SF, watched the ship parade, and then scooted out of SF, avoiding most of the traffic.............

What kinda of bike do you have and How often do you go to Alices??
Wed Feb 07, 2007 7:08 pm
Iv'e got a 1987 Goldwing, and for work, an old 1984 Shadow. I haven't been up to Alice's on the bike in a while. Usually I'm just passing through to/from the coast or down Skyline. Last time we were at Alices for lunch, we hiked down the canyon a short ways away to visit the Resolution crash from the 50's.

Cool, I have a couple of sport bikes and a 99 VFR. I also did a hike to the resolution, but I thought there would be more debris. There is also a f2h4 Banshee crash that is complete a little further south off skyline. A few of my buddies are setting up a hike soon and will post the pix when we go. I went once and didn't bring a camera. D'oh

Very nice beachgirl
M4 full auto is not allowed here but I tried the AR-15 a couple of times, too bad it is very expensive (about 2000 Euro for a brand new one made in Germany, import from the US is not possible after 9/11).
I think I'll get an M1 Carbine soon, I've already tried one from a person who is selling it. I'll have to buy a proper safe first to store it in, that is one of the rules here too. I shoot for about 2 and a half years now. A friend of mine has a Glock 17 and most of the time I use the clubs CZ 75 9mm.

Hey, mennie, thanks!
Was just speaking with a co-worker from The Netherlands, he says that Utrecht is one of the most beautiful places there!
