Gary,

I got a kick out of my unexpected care package from you. You're doing a great job and are one of the CAF's best ambassadors.

Got mine as well, Gary - thanks! Gotta run down to the local Swillmart for a nice frame.

Except Diamond Lil, of course... By the way, didn't Forgotten Field have some corrugated metal panels for sale? Sorry I didn't think of it earlier  .

Gary,

Thanks so much for the surprise package! I appreciate it very much. Once Lil is all finished, painted, and back up flying, I'm going to shoot an excellent photo of her and frame it along with the piece of sheet metal. Should make for an interesting conversation piece. 8)

Cheers!

Mine also came today!
That was a very thougtful surprise that I wasn't expecting. Thank you so much. My grandsons were here when I opened it and they knew exactly which B-24 it came off of! (They toured it at Reading last June.)
Again, thank you so much Gary and Keep 'Em Flying!

You're welcome, everyone. :D

I just wanted to send a little something to all of you who pitched in to help with the purchase of the guns for the Liberator. It is folks like all of you who actually keep these ol' clunkers flying.

Thank YOU!

Gary

Yeah Gary, beyond cool. You're doing more for the CAF's image than Cathy Zeta-Jones did for T-Mobile's. And I wouldn't have thought you had the legs for it. :D Many thanks.

Dernitt...all because the thread was posted during my slow time of year. Wanted to chip in...oh, well. Count me in on the next one.

Having said that, and despite my envy, that's a class move, Gary. Many wouldn't have thunk of it.
