The flag can go on the right arm has long has it's the correct type and not retreating. BTW I think it's inappropriate to wear wings. medals, ribbons, insignia or patches you didn't earn the hard way. Just my opinion.

Yes, I bought a flag for the left arm (flying properly) and I agree (for the most part) about medals/ribbons that weren't earned. I have private pilot wings for mine and an AOPA Pilot insignia, but both of those are accurate.
