Don't be so hard on yourself. I posted it. I'm proud of Don and like to share the few pics I have of him. It's sort of sad though seeing him on Rob Mear's list of Corsair losses.

Don was the Flight Officer (3rd in command) of VMF-112 Air Group 82. His assigned F4U-1D was #3. While on guadalcanal with VMF-121
he was recomended for the Navy Cross for a straffing attack on the battleship Hiei.
