Kevin,
Anything to keep them flying. There's a few more suppliers listed, but the ones I gave you had the quantity you were looking for.

Big thanks, Dave. I managed to locate the necessary seals.

Which Parts locator did you use?

Im also trying to find some spare 86024 Oil coolers.

I've been using ABDOnline.

they list 4 each 86024 cooler on hand.
3) Vertical parts inc. phone 316-655-9045, fax 316-733-5819
they list 1 each 86024 cooler on hand.

A big thank you again, David.

ILS?

How do I sign up for that? Is it a subscription?

Kevin

Kevin,
The ILS is a subscription per say. We pay for a years worth of service and it gives us a certain number of searches per month. You can go to their website, www.ilsmart.com, and get a contact number to get specific information on the services available. I couldn't maintain the airplanes I do without it.
Feel free to PM or e-mail if I can help.
Take Care
David

David

What does a 1 year subscription to ILS cost? Are there different access levels? Which one would you recommend to support an A1-E, T6, Yale, Stearman?

Generally, subscriptions are priced for the corporate user unless I’ve missed something.

I’ve had some kind souls who have a subscription at their work that help me out when I’m looking for something…

Ed,
Eric is right. I use the ILS to find parts for 8 airplanes. I hesitate to recommend you get a subscription for the airplanes you have as I'm not sure you'll find what you need. If you know someone near you that has this service, try to have them run a few parts on the ILS for you and see if results are found. I went 2 years with friends doing searches for me before we signed up.
Check ILS's website for current prices and features. I don't want to give you bad information in regards to pricing.

Thanks for the info. David.

Shay, where was THAT taken?

1999? Kansas City, perhaps?

You know, you do these things long enough and all the shows run together. The first year for me (1997) I was at 18 airshows and I could tell you where, when, who was on our crew, what I did, where we stayed and probably what I ate.

Now, 9 years later...It's all one big airshow to me. Familarity only comes after landing when I get a good look around, and is quickly lost in the mire when the wheels go up.

Anyone else with me on this?

KK
