Can anyone please confirm the current status of Sea Fury N85SF?
It was based at Auburn CA last I heard (2002).

Not exactly a confirmation, but the last I heard was it was being converted from a racer (Critical Mass), back into original-ish configuration. Don't know if they plan on putting back into a single seat or dual seat configuration though.

The new owner of Rear bear purchased the racing engine off of "Critical Mass" and now the owners of "Critical Mass" are converting it back to a stock 2 seat Sea Fury.

King is pretty much right on. It will be a "stock" two seater with a R-3350. New outer wing panels will be put on for full span, and the center section I heard is going to Sander's for return to two-seat status.
