Now that really makes me mad. I'm the guy with the other AT-10 parts lacking a set of you guessed it, wings. I would like to see it go to Air and Space, but would they want another wingless airplane?

Was that sarcasm or do you actually have an AT-10? O_o;

No sarcasam, got the real thing. Interesting story behind finding it. It is a really rough basket case, but it is a AT-10. Lots of metal pieces, but most of the wood is gone, thus making a set of wings that much more valuable. Didn't know much about Wichitas until we found this one, but it is amazing how many veterans I have talked with who flew them in training.

Once again, before anyone starts trash-talking the folks in Dayton, I was just repeating what the tour guide said..she wasn't an aviation authority by any means, and may not have known what she was talking about. You might want to actually contact the Air Force Museum and get the real story.

The before pictures look pretty familiar. We found our AT-10 in west Texas. It had been stationed at Bruce Army Air Field, Ballanger Texas during the war and remained there for 60 years undiscovered till we found it a couple of years ago.

the one at the Air Force museum is the only other one in existence that we know of. It will take a really dedicated restoration with lots of money to get it flying. If you ever come down to Terry Adams hangar I can show it to you.

Being a fan of Beech aircraft (too bad there aren't any Grizzly's around...), I have a special interest in AT-10s. I'd love to see pictures! What's the serial number?

We have a 99% complete panel from an AT10 in the store room. For the longest time we didnt know what it is from. It is completely original Thanks to the Musuem mentioned above, we were able to ID it.

Well since we're talking AT-10, here's my contribution...

During the last couple of weeks, I have been to two of the airfields where the AT-10s were flown during WWII.

Vincennes, IN
North Vernon, IN

Both air terminals have a couple of photos of AT-10s, as well as some radios and memorabilia related to the AT-10s.

I took no pictures though.

Ober, be sure to use a wide angle lense for that static ramp shot. I'll 2nd that he indeed has a AT-10 in his hangar...........
