...normally used in place of "that", and if you don't know what "this" means "that" doesn't matter.

It's obviously part of the Rigaborta Fortastat System as installed on North American Phlanx C-8 aircraft.

"What is this?"

Well, of course that depends on what the meaning of the word "is" is.

OK, so I see a threaded socket for a "blulb" and would anticipate that when the plunger is depressed, the light goes on. Otherwise, it's a Johnson Rod actuator.

Easy. . . it's a discumbobulated fratistat.

Actually, it resembles a 1960s-1970s Ford automobile brake light switch (although I know that's not what it is).

Cheers!

Just for the un-informed,
a Thingamajig, is used to join 2 parts together, hence the "jig".
a thingamabob attaches to a single part
a whatchamacallit, is a higher quality thingamabob.

It clearly is one of those thingys that you use you know, it sometimes or sometimes doesn't attach to other deals. Sort attaches to the other thingy, kind of helps to keep all of the other parts sort of together but apart but sort of in a stand alone manner almost like a whatchamacallit but just doesn't have those deals on the side. I don't know if you remember that movie where they were using those but it had those guys who were doing that thing with aircraft. It was sort of a drama, comedy, documentary, love story type thing. It wasn''t actually part of the movie but it was implied. Actually I think it was in the book but they took it out for the movie.

So you think it's made in Mexico?

This one is very easy, actually:

Ching - chinese part
derra - irish part

So, it is a mexican-irish taco cutter.

Saludos,

Tulio - wordsmith
