There are some nice examples in 1/18th scale.

Do any of you have the 1/18 bug?

For those who have not seen these, they look awesome hanging in the hanger. :)

I have the Fw 190D from 21st Century Toys. My biggest problem is where to put it! Thats why I stick to 1:144 and 1:72 scale stuff, it takes up less room.

I like the 1:18 stuff, but I just cant bring myself to buy one, I prefer to stick with kits I can build myself.

They do have some really impressive models out now.

As for 1:18 I'll stick to my Trans Am's.

Thats why I hang mine, Scott. ;)

I am in the process of building a Engish Pub/Tea room and the 25+ (so far) will look awesome hanging from the rafters. 8)

I have some hanging in the Hanger for now, and they look just as good in there.

They have really inproved in the last couple of years, and have new planes out.

Like the TBM, several Jets, and this week the Me 262 Nightfighter.

All 3 companies seem to be doing an awesome job, and bringing warbirds to the yonger generation.

I got a bunch, and I love them, except for the decal/silkscreened details being deleted due to PC cr*p.
I just got the F/A-18, and man, that thing is sharp!
Now I gotta get the F-16!
I also got the F-86 from admiral Toys. That thing is nice!
I keep them in the boxes.
Nowhere to hang them!

I have the sky captain P-40 and the Lou IV Mustang. They do take up way too much room though. I've got about 25 1/48 diecast (mostly Mustangs) and I think I've just about pushed the limits with the Mrs.

I just picked up the 1:18 TBM at walmart for $30 on clearance! haven't opened it up yet, but it looks pretty sharp.

I got my 5 year old nephew the ME109G for Christmas and the MIG-15 for his B-day 2 weeks later. All of a sudden I'm a super hero! 8) 8)
