No, sorry. I somehow missed taking pictures of the T-6 while I was taking a few of the A-26 right next to it.

That's OK, I mean if you've seen one T-6, you've seen them all!

A-26 is a beauty by the way! Hangar looks well lit too.

ps..You know me. I'm not afraid to "axe" questions. What's a "cart full of table"?

A big steel rack on wheels that you stack large folding tables on.

That sucks Jack.
My friend got her car keyed the other day while we were in the mall.

And I agree, we should start a B-25 repair fundraiser.

BTW, what museam is that?

Na, a very nice thought but send it to Scott or Gary 8)
It's on loan to Evergreen Air Museum.

Here's all I have. The airplanes are packed in there tight, and it can
be difficult to get a good/clean shot of a whole airplane. Then again,
maybe we had too many beers before we went over to the museum
to take pictures.... :D

Jack,

If you catch the coward, I saw a very appropriate torture in the latest James Bond film that you could use on him. But that IS assuming he has enough sack to hang down!

Here's what she looked like four weeks ago on December 4th, 2006. It was about 9:30 AM and they were getting ready to back her outside to make room for a staff/volunteer Christmas party.

If you look at Dennis's first picture there's a fellow moving a airplane. Notice that no one's helping him or even around. If you look closer the P-51 has the towbars on and so does the B-25 (in the wrong place though). If I was a betting man I'd say this is when it happened and the culprid is in the photo. I sent the photo to the museum with some pretty hard questions and also finally got through to "Bomber Jim" to let him know what happened. He basically wants a human sacrifice. No for the damage but more what led up to it and what happened afterwards.

I think the poor soul did not know or is too scared to say so, stuff happens, either way I am sure he is feeling a lot worse and suffering a lot more. The B-25 is certainly a beautiful airplane, I could only dream of flying one!

Jack, seems to me that if they can't get the towbar attached in the right place then not only are they dangerous they are also a hazard and shouldn't be movin' airplanes around. At least not without adult supervision !

I agree. All the more reason to step up. Sorta like Edgar Allen Poe's "Tell-Tale heart".

I agree and I pointed that out in my email to them. In spades :!:

I also can't believe that someone is ignorant enough to climb on a tug and move tightly packed airplanes around without having several spotters to keep him honest.

I wouldn't move one inch without someone watching the wings and tail.

Jack, I wonder if putting the towbar in the nosewheel instead of above the wheel causes any unusual stress on the trunnion mount ?

Reason I ask, is that the manual is adamant about not chocking the B-25 nosewheel if there is severe weather. They want it to rock to avoid damage to the nose gear attach points. Since you are pulling at a much shallower angle the stresses could be similar.

Sorry to hear about that. Any chance insurance could cover the repair?
