Thanks for the great pictures of the aircraft displayed at the Glenn L. Martin Musuem in Middle River. Happy to hear about the positive feelings concerning the Martin Mars. Having that airplane fly there and become a part of the museum would absolutely make it a Major aviation attraction.

Any idea whether the museum has an F-86H stored somewhere? The MD ANG flew F-86H's for over a decade and with the New York Air Guard up in Syracuse were the only two units to fly Sabres into the 1970s. More than the RF-84F, F-100 or F-105 the F-86H belongs at Martin Airport.

There was an F-86H on display at the gate to the ANG building as well as a an HU-16. I couldn't get pics of the F-86, I got yelled at as I tried. But I did get one of the HU-16. I will post it when I get home tonight. The museum has an F-86, F-9F, and parts to a P6M in storage.

Glad to hear that there is an F-86H on display there. Sorry you got yelled at trying to take a picture of the F-86H - I am sure there they were concerned with the security of the classified technology with the Sabre -

Thanks for your pictures and your information. Look forward to seeing the HU-16.
