I think the other would be Alain de Cadanet who owned or still owns TE184.

Not sure how much acting in movies he has done but he does stuff on Speedvision.

Good Try.. Adam De Cadanet was a racing driver and TV presenter. But not an Actor..

The person I am thinking about is in the southern hemisphere

No Gilmour AFAIK never had a Spitfire (Mustang G-SIRR yep) but not a Spitfire

anyway Musician not Actor (cannot remember if he was in the film of The Wall) Rob Rohr would know

A) He does still act (occasionally) but he is not a well known actor - More a bit part actor (but he has been in anumber of films)
B) Acting is NOT his main work
C) He is Australian
D) He was in Crocodile Dundee II and III
E) He owns a Spitfire (current)

Should not be to hard with the internet!
