I'm hearing that Ivan has taken a big toll when it came ashore! Has anyone heard how the collections at the USS Alabama, NMNA and the USAF Armament Museum have fared. My thoughts go out to all the people who have suffered property loss and the loss of loved ones!

Read on another forum that the Museum at Alabama Park had the roof ripped off, no further info as to the aircraft inside or those outside..hopefully nothing too serious done to the exhibits , and indeed the residents of the area.

I've been watching The Weather Channel. If the images of utter destruction in Pensacola they have shown are any indication, I fear what we will see in regards to aircraft.
