Got it!
I added some other entries to the located, and have a few more questions to add to the list...
#21 Where is the T-33 in Arcadia?
#22 Where is the Florida Aviation Historical Society in Indian Rocks Beach?
#23 I tried finding Disney MGM's back lot, but I couldn't even find MGM. I can't tell one park from another except for Epcot. I am looking for the Gulfstream at Epcot. Any idea where?
#24 I tried to find Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville with the Albatross. I think I am close, but still no cigar. I found the Grumman Goose close by.
#25 There is a MiG-23 at Tyndall. Where is it?

Mike,
The B-57 at Melbourne looks like it's actually an E.E. Canberra, judging from the canopy. On Google maps at high mag the canopy looks more round than the oblong shape the Martin would have.

This is so cool. I love the detail. I will try to find them with GE.

I just found JBs Albatross on Yahoo Maps Sattelite Pic. Google earth has not been updated in their view. It is on the square pad at the entrance to Islands of Adventure, right across the walkway from Margaritaville.
The Hotel is the Royal Pacific just behind Margaritaville.
The Albatross in the lagoon is floating, has a bilge pump that runs from time to time, and had fake engines and 4 bladed propellers.
We still had to stay there a few years ago. There was a neat somewhat aviation themed restaurant in the lower level.

Mike, on the MGM thing. Look at Epcot, there is a large lake in the center, directly across there are two large hotels that face each other, one is the Dolphin and the smaller one is the Swan. They have huge sculptures of their namesakes on the buildings. There is a canal that they run boats over to MGM. It's behind the Swan.
In addition to the G1, MGM also has a full scale German flying wing from Raiders of the Lost Ark. It's one of their attractions where they do the scene fom the movie, it's done in the open as there is a lot of fire involved.

Jimmy Buffet's Albatross N928J "Hemisphere Dancer" is at the City Walk at Universal Studios in Orlando. I took several photos of it when I was there in April. The GPS coordinates are: 28 28'21.24" N 81 28'01.07" W
This photo was taken before the airplane was in place. See
http://www.lpba.org/buffett.html and airliners.net for photos of N928J when it was still flying.

Todd, do you know a USAF LtCol Hackbarth ?
Sat Dec 09, 2006 11:26 pm
Rick,
No I don't. Hackbarth is a fairly common name in Minnesota and Wisconsin, where my father is from.

Was at MGM just recently. Took the backlot tour.
One of the Gee Bee type a/c from the movie The Rockteer along with
2 fiberglass P-40s from the movie Pearl Harbor were rotting away
there. All 3 in pretty bad shape. As mentioned by Ken, the
a/c Walt Disney used is on display also.

Mmmm, the USAF B-57A did not have an elongated canopy, but had one like the EE Canberra, as seen at:
