Has it been moved to your shop yet??

The project is currently underway with Witchita Air Services of Witchita Kansas. I don't have any pics of the project, other than what most of you have seen on Aero Trader's website. We love these rare projects! So of course any help with finding Helldiver parts would be greatly appreciated! (Yes we know Mr. Helldiver/Mike Rawson, he's been a great help to us already) Sure will be great to have another Helldiver in the air! I've never seen one fly myself!

Wichita Air Services Inc. / Warbird Division is located at the Newton City/County Airport (EWK), Newton KS. Our warbird restoration division is run by Terry Reynolds. He along with the rest of our staff are highly motivated, quality driven individuals.
We are honored to have been chosen for this project, and are confident that we can exceed expectation.
Currently we are disassemling the aircraft, or pieces, and building jig fixtures. We hope to start fabrication and assembly soon.

Warhawks1, do you need any pictures of anything specific? The CAF Helldiver just happens to be about twenty feet away from my current project, so I could try to help you out with photos, if needed.

Thanks for the help Gary. When we get closer to the detail stage we will probably come knocking.
I'm suppose to get some update photo's from Witchita Air Services shortly. I'll post some when they show up.

Warbirds,

Can't wait to see how she's coming. When I first saw her for sale with Aero Trader I tried to talk 385,000(?) of my friends to donate a dollar so I could purchase her. As you can tell, I didn't have much luck with that. Can't wait to see the progress on her, do you guys have an estimate on how many years the restoration is going to take? Or if there is ever going to be a web site on her restoration or on the company that's doing it?

Sorry to be such a pain, but I've got issues when it comes to WWII Naval Aircraft & there doesn't seem to be much restoration info on the net about them.
