Is it just me, or does that Huey have some long legs? Black and gold...long legs...door gun mounts...kinda sexy :wink:

Very sexy, indeed! I believe the tall skids are for protecting the gunners from the jaws of hungry Gators while in the marshes :P

I believe they use the Gulfstream to do shuttle landing simulations.

My Father works at Moffett and said that they still move it around from time to time.

Dad also said NASA still have stuff stored across the field in hanger Two

I believe they deploy the thrust reverses in flight to simulate the shuttles great glide angle."like a brick" :shock:
