First I have heard of the movie. Website is very interesting and by selecting video you get to preview some great footage. I will be ordering a copy of that for myself. Thanks for posting.

A buddy of mine had this and I watched it. It's a really great movie. Really gets you if you are a pilot, but as an overal aviation enthusiast it moved me as well. Just shows a love of flying and things that fly! Defintley check it out, few good warbird shots as well.

I'm taking my wife to the screening tomorrow. I knw it won't make her give a darn about aviation, but maybe she'll understand a little better what I see in it. She already appreciates the fact that I volunteer her for the Chino Airshow ever year!

Well, that was a fantastic evening! I even got to see some aircraft I hadn't seen before.

This is a documentary (with no narrator) that features pilots (male and female), ATC, and others associated with Van Nuys Airport- from day one! Lots of flying sequences and fantastic photography and musical score. Bob Hoover, Clay Lacey, and others. Lots of good stories, not one of those typical "talking head" documentaries. All the interviews were done first, without a script, and were then woven into a story about general aviation- including lots of warbirds!

There was even a Q&A session with the directors and producers.

My wife loved it!

All the planes below (and then some) were featured flyers in the documentary.

Lighting was challenging (of course I say that for my daylight photos too), so I had to do a little Photoshopping.

I bought a few copies of One Six Right DVD's while at Oshkosh to give to my parents and grandparents to say thankyou.(who put me through college to fly) I thimk it really gives people a better understanding as to why we fly. I hear a rumor that Meigs Field is going to be put back, I was wondering if anyone heard that?
