he has 2 beech 18's
2 f9f cougars
1 t-33
1 f2h banshee
1 yale in canadian markings
1 sikorsky s-13 chopper
a pole barn full of engines, instruments, sensenich props, f-84 flight simulator, parts, & memorabilia out the ying yang. nice guy, he was an air traffic controller in the 80's when reagan canned them all. he's a passionate collector like soplata, but his stuff could use alot of tender loving care from the ravages of the elements, vandalism etc. he got all the stuff basically from dod auctions etc. he's been friendly w/ soplata for better part of 30 years.

The Google Earth images for that area are poor, but I can at least see where the airport is. Is the Mig 17 static?

Do you want to find locations of displayed, stored or active aircraft? Then start with the The Locator.
Do you want to find or contribute to the documented history of an aircraft? If so then start with the Airframes Database.

Someone already pointed that out to me. The fact that Soplata is not on the list is intentional. I would like to respect his privacy and not pinpoint the location of collection (which is what the main purpose of the Locator). I don't think it is a good idea to list the name of the town. Hence no entry.

I have never heard about this one. Would he welcome visitors? I.e. should I include an entry? If so can you give me an address, directions, or maybe even lat and long coordinates?

Mike

I visited ( with owners permission)about 10 years ago, and my Dad knows him a bit. A nice collection which needs to be indoors. I'm not sure he is looking for visitors, but he should get his nice collection out for folks to see.

as oscarduece states cleaver likes his privacy, but i think it's still worth listing. you'd never find it from the road, from the air, yes. no clue as to lat longs, but worth listing as clarksfield ohio.

I’m sitting at an FBO in CLE right now. Took some time to take these over in Brooklyn, Ohio next to City Hall.

A balmy 65 degrees this afternoon, what’s up with that?

Someone tipped me off to this one in an email (it may have been you shay). I added it the Locator this morning.

Was it "displayed" or flown from there?

It was in a hanger and looked ready to fly. Sorry I don't have more info, but I was more worried about getting my logbook signed and beating some weather home.
