Very good spookyboss. I have been looking for photos of this a/c in the Vietnam camo for a long time. Then within a couple of days I find two of the plane in that scheme. Here is the other!

I would imagine that to be N401Y now at Mark Clarks place in Rockford. It was white with a broad red stripe on the fuselage. The tail was also red with a white star. I have seen photos of it sitting in a corner at Wakeman near the trees if that rings a bell. This by the way is the prototype On-Mark. Would have been nice to see it restored as such, and not as a quasi warbird!

tj. that's where it was located!!! too cool!!! flown out around 1980. they cleaned the bird nests / crap out of it, drained the old fuel, refilled, & away it went.

N401Y went to George Rivera at Oakland who at the time was restoring N500MR (later Gator Invader). 401Y was then sold to a guy in Kansas by the name Dale Faust. It later went to (I believe) the late Jack Rodgers. After some time on display it went to Rockford, IL.

As for spookyboss photos I think the air-to-air image is actually showing Counselman's other A-26 N303WC, which was white/red and had a "boxer" nose. N4813E was white with blue trim before adorning camo paint.

N4813E in civilian colors.

I just found a photo of N401Y shot at Oakland around 81-82. Hope you enjoy it.
