WTS: B-17/B-24 Type B-22 Supercharger **new pics added**

Wed Nov 01, 2006 8:33 pm

Allis-Chalmers Type B-22 Supercharger, as used on B-17's and B-24's. Complete & in NOS condition, never installed on an A/C. Includes wastegate and other misc. brackets and hardware. NOS units are becoming increasingly harder to find these days! $2,500

Would potentially be interested in trades for B-29 parts.

More pics to follow once I finish building a base to mount it on...

Trevor,

That's a really nice piece and I would think you'd be able to get some takers on it. As for the B-29 parts, do you just collect them or are they for a static cockpit display, etc??

Don't suppose you'd have any ball turret parts hiding amongst your B-29 stuff?

New pics are up!

To answer some questions....yes this can be shipped. I will crate it for no extra charge, and will help load it. Or it can also be picked up here at my location. The areas on the top that look like rust are some type of old preservative I'm guessing, as a little oil and a scrubber pad takes it right off. Overall needs a good cleaning to remove 60+ years of muck from storage! Any other questions, just ask!
