Well, since a lot of you have been to Breckenridge, you know there isn't a whole lot to do there. Soooooo, getting to play around with cool, old airplanes was kind of our past time. I know a lot of the pictures I have are just plain silly, but it was definitely a cool opportunity. Not a day goes by that I don't miss working with Nelson and the crew.

Gary,

You have been good to have your camera with you for these passes! I have been standing out ON the runway for a couple of cool passes. One was a Super DC3 and when it went over it was like STEREO sound with one engine above each ear! Except I was ducking down and stepping off to the side. A couple have been with John going by in his Fury. At least one time I got my dad on the phone when John flew by me! One of the best was the CAF Corsair... I'll dig up the picture that a friend took of us out on the runway. You can see two or three of us ducking out of the way when it blew by! Another was out at Breckenridge... a bunch of us were standing in the grass between the taxiway and runway and Howard went just feet over the top of us in the CAF Spitfire! Fun stuff....

Here is the closest I have been with a camera when the Fury went by.

Great pictures!

I had one, but I reckon Mr. Dawson (Fury driver) didn't see it in time. :P
