This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

For those not in the know.

For those of you who do not frequent the air racing message boards, aafo.com, and warbirdaeropress.com, you will not be allowed to bring any liquids into the races. That's right no water. Go to airrace.org and click on the link to send a message to RARA. These guys are the biggest clowns in all of motorsports. The races go on, despite all of RARA's efforts to screw everything up. Send these clowns a nice note to remind them again and again how stupid they are.

Never have I been denied bringing my own water into a show, never, post 9/11, NEVER. Heck I have never even had my bags checked at the largest show in the world, EAA Oshkosh, and I have made it 23 straight years. You will be forced to buy water at Reno, they have no free water anywhere. Or you can do what I do and get there very early every day, park close, and walk back to the car and get it out of the cooler. I will not spend a penny at RARA concession stands. I didn't spend a penny last year, and for sure I will not buy a thing this year.

Amongst the reasons I haven't been in about 10 years after I went for 13 years in a row.
