Saturday Sept 9th at the Waukegan IL airport on the north side of Chicago--small show, variety of piston and jet warbirds static and flying, a few flip flop acts, small, relaxed venue.

Look forward to seeing you at Waukegan this weekend Paul. We will have all of the foundations airplanes out and probably be flying most in the airshow. Not sure of the schedule, but I will try to post a rundown when I can get a copy of it. Visit www.warbirdheritagefoundation.org to view the airplanes we will have at the show.

David,

I'm looking forward to flying in the show and hanging with you guys at WHF and the Hoppers etc. Still may get my P-51 buddy to come--will let Jeff C. know ASAP. See you Saturday.

Hey, I saw you and your P-51 buddy fly over the Goodguys show in Waukesha a couple weeks ago. It was awesome!

I met the "driver" today and found him to be 1st class all the way. Thank you for all your hospitality. You do the Warbird community proud.

If you ever get a chance to meet Paul, don't miss out.

Thanks for the kind words guys! I'm happy to have warbird enthusiasts or wing nuts drop in at the hangar. A lot of the enjoyment of owning the airplane is seeing old veteran pilots or crew chiefs reunite with their old ship and meeting other like-minded warbird/aviation nuts. Great meeting you Scott--drop in any time.

Warbird guy, just bring some Jiffy-pop to the airshow and put it behind the T-33 for a few seconds...

Just spent the morning with Paul watching his routine and take off for the show. Guys like Paul are who will keep people coming to see Warbirds. What a professional. Everything by the book.

Thanks again, Paul. I look forward to future visits.

PS: Henningson, you better have some pics posted by Sunday!

Paul & Henning,
Great little Airshow today despite the low ceilings. Had a good time at the after party at WHF HQ. We didn't mean to put you to work Henning! Thank you both and look forward to the next Show.

David,

Thanks to you, Paul Wood and the WHF crew for the great hospitality and support at the show! It was a blast chasing the F-86 around the pattern at 400+ knots! Scott, great to see you Saturday--I'll be around the airport most days this week in the afternoon so stop out for a cool one. Henning, way gut out the Gs and great job flying--stop by the hangar this week.

Cheers
