The Army trained the Women Airforce Service Pilots at this location.

What was the organizational structure and how did it fit into the AACorps Training Command? Thanks for anything you can add.

Paul,
Pick up or get your library to do an interlibrary loan for "Amelia Earhart's Daughters" by Leslie Haynsworth and David Toomey (ISBN 0-688-15233-3) 1998. It's got quite a bit of info about Avenger Field and a nice bibliography. This book might have what you're looking for.

Let me know if you need more info, Paul -- My history thesis was on the WASP, so I'm sure I've got tons of stuff kicking around here somewhere!
