Doolittle Raider at the USAF Museum

Wed Aug 25, 2004 10:09 am

On Sept 22nd at 7:30pm Thomas Griffin who was the navigator on plane #9 for the B-25 raid on Tokyo will give a lecture at the USAF Museum. I think I am going because there wont be too many more of these types of lectures given by a Doolittle Raider. Will anyone else consider making the trip for this?

Wow! I would very much like to attend that lecture, although not a good possibility for me. Listening to gentlemen like this speak is priceless. After having attending the YAF's Thunder Over Michigan, then going to the symposium, I truely believe those that did not hear the speakers were missing half of the show.

If you do go, could you find out if the musueum is producing a DVD of the lecture? Perhaps they have recorded others as well.

Mike

Would you consider?

Would you consider taping the event or at least sending me a report? I'd love to go, but that's a bit far for my budget.
