Its really too bad the plans for the new building was put on hold. It would be very nice to see them protected from the storms and the weather.

I can't wait to go back, its been way too long.

Their attendance was down by 500,000 last year. This was due to the hurricanes, further drop in tourism in the area was caused by lack of hotel rooms.

My wife & I will be down there for a visit in the middle of Sept. She has never been to the museum. We are looking forward to it. :D

Are you sure you told her? My wife would just roll her eyes at the thought!

Hey my wife tolerates this stuff and she's forced to live with it anyway.

In spite of that she really is impressed and likes the Naval Air Museum.

A long time ago we were driving to Disney World with our (then) two small children. I was given one directive, my wife wanted to go on the white beaches around Pensacola. My son and I were going to the NAM come h*ll or high water. Naturaly we stopped the museum first. 5 hrs later we left. We then stopped at Navarre Beach. We stayed 30 minutes.
It was November, what did she expect ?
