Everyone is doing Virtual Airlines and Virtual Military services nowdays but being a FS2004 and pretty soon FSX addict I have decided to open up the VWA or Virtual Warbird Association. I will have many variants of Pre WW2, WW2, Korean and Vietrnam era planes and will have different sites to have airshows where you will have to plan a route and fly your assigned planes. I will have training where you will start in PT-19s, Stearmans and other primary trainers, then go up to the BT-13 and BT-14s, T-6s, and T-50 Beech-18 (AT-11) for the multi engine, and for fighters you might need to fly the T-34 and T-28s. You will also have to do a checkride and get signed off on your assigned planes. I will be getting High speed soon and will also have online warbird shows. Web site and downloading of planes has commenced and I am keeping this mostly free but you may have to get some pay planes for the best planes.

Basically its a Warbird Organization for FS2004 and FSX, there are Virtual Airlines and Virtual Militarys, now I am making the VWA. The VWA will have airshows online when I get my highspeed and of course you will have to fly to each show site offline. Basically just want to have fun with FS2004 and FSX with Warbirds.

COUNT ME IN!!!! But it will not be until the snow flies. I used to fly combat with a group a guys online............we were the KG26 and flew HE-111's...............pretty intense flying online with 15 or so people. If the kiddies stayed out, we would have some awsome missions.

Sign me up

I'm on FS9 at least every day and can't wait for FSX to come out

my A/C of choice are WWII planes
I was with a virtual Airline flying either a CRJ or 737 until the airline crashed, so a check ride will be a walk in the park.

I will put the file names on the web page once I get it up, I am in the process of getting all the planes reinstalled, and as well as working on the web page. This may be the biggest under taking in FS Virtual services ever.

Hi Nathan,

just out of curiousity, I've been "flying the virtual sky" for more than a few years now. For those of you who may not be familiar with it. There is a Virtual Air Traffic Control concern that is VERY good for flying online with folks. It is called VATSIM and what it is basically is a very large "Virtual" Air Traffic Control when you fly your computer/aircraft online. You have everything from Clearance Delivery, Departure, High and Low In flight, sectored traffic control, Approach and Ground Air Traffic Control.

Look for Vatsim.com for more info. It is all FREE, software, voice for communication with ATC, and membership.

Just out of curiousity Nathan...since my "logbook" has approximately 3400 hours of Flight Simulator time in it, with all kinds of different aircraft, but primarily Jet Liners, when I fly online, am I really gonna need a check flight ??

Would love to see this hobby get off the ground so to speak....it would be neat to do some Virtual Airshows or perhaps some formation flying with some folks. Contact me for more infor if I can help.

Paul

Hey Paul no you wont need a check flight, I am almost done installing all the planes that will be used and taking screenshots. This will get off the ground and found a company that has highspeed where I live.
