i wangled a flight on a restored pt-17 trainer in pre ww 2 markings today. the plane was constructed in 41. a true exhilarating experience flying open cockpit in my own backyard. no big deal to you guys, but a thrill i thought i'd share none the less. in my opinion you haven't flown till you've gone open air cockpit.
